Orange Otter Toy Store Celebrates 4th Birthday With Party Weekend and Biggest Sale of the Year
Community events include a kickoff sale, downtown golf cart parade participation, a Nee Doh drop, Sweet Racie’s treats, and a squishy swap
North Augusta, S.C. — August 20, 2026
Orange Otter Toy Store is turning 4 and celebrating with a birthday weekend designed to thank the community with family-friendly fun, in-store surprises, and the store’s best sale of the year.
The weekend’s kickoff is Thursday’s sale launch at 5 p.m., featuring up to 70% off favorite toys. Orange Otter Toy Store is encouraging shoppers to use the event to stock up for upcoming birthdays and Christmas.
Also Thursday, Downtown North Augusta is hosting a golf cart parade on West Avenue at 6 p.m. Orange Otter Toy Store will be riding in the parade with decorated golf carts as part of the community celebration.
Friday starts early at 9 a.m. with a Nee Doh drop event in-store.
During the event, customers who spend over $175 will receive a FREE Nee Doh Advent Calendar. This offer includes both the Halloween and Holiday calendars, is in-store only, and is available while supplies last.
Saturday’s celebration includes Sweet Racie’s serving Italian Ice and Lemonade from 10 a.m. to noon.
Also on Saturday, squishy toy collectors are invited to meet at 10 a.m. for a squishy swap: participants can bring a clean, gently used squishy to trade with a friend. The squishy swap is similar to the store’s Tonie Swaps, giving collectors a simple, community-centered way to share and refresh their collections.
